Covid 19

During these delicate and changing times, we are learning to live alongside Covid-19. Although these practices are not new to us, keeping ourselves and our clients healthy and safe, has and always will be, of our utmost importance. So please rest assured, this is what we are doing to keep our community safe moving forward.

Here is what we are doing to help you:

  1. Cleaning and disinfecting all areas of use after each client
  2. Washing our hands after each client
  3. Recording keeping for the purpose of Covid-19 tracing
  4. A choice of whether you would like your therapist to wear a mask
  5. Not treating clients if we are sick or showing signs of sickness eg; runny nose, cough, fever etc
  6. Not treating clients if we have been in a hotspot/travelled overseas and not been tested with a negative result
  7. Not treating clients if we have been exposed to someone with Covid-19
  8. Not treating clients if we have returned a positive Covid-19 result in the last 4 weeks

Here is what you can do to help us:

  1. Complete your “Client Intake Form” truthfully and accurately
  2. Do not book a treatment if you are sick or showing signs of sickness eg; runny nose, cough, fever etc
  3. Do not book a treatment if you have been in a hotspot and not been tested with a negative result

  6. Wash your hands prior to treatment

We are regularly reviewing our systems of work to ensure they are consistent with current directions and advice provided by health authorities. We cannot do this alone, so let’s look after eachother, together.

We welcome any questions or concerns clients may have regarding our Covid-19 safe practices, so please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.

*Should you book a treatment with signs or symptoms of sickness, it is at the discretion of Malama/therapist to cancel your booking, with a loss to the client of deposit and payment of session in full.
